Ok so back in the day not all that long ago when I was still a slave to my job, I opted to have Sundays and Mondays off. Since I resigned from my job Steven has Sundays and Mondays off, so those are in a sense our days off together. The days I don't mope around the house playing on ebay, or with the pup pup, or spending some quality time over at my parents house.
When I start school on August 2, I'll be going Tuesday-Saturday 8am-430, so alas I'll continue to have Sundays and Mondays from school at least and thats awesome. I love having Sundays and Mondays off, and here's why. On Sunday its still the weekend and almost everyone has that day off from work, but its also the most relaxed day of the weekend because everyone is recovering from their work week, and their Friday and Saturday night adventures. Most people are very laid back on Sundays and there is just this wonderful lazy pace about the whole day, no one is in a mad rush to be anywhere, this is why I love having Sundays off. Mondays are almost as good if not better, Instead of coming in contact with lazy people, you tend to come in contact with very few people Mondays are the day of the week almost no one is out to dinner, or at a movie, or shopping somewhere, or at the beach. Everyone is working there Mon-Fri 9-5 job and hence its the best day of the week for those of us who can to go out and do things to do so, without being surrounded by masses of people (who are usually stupid and don't know how to drive).
All right, so Saturday I went and visited my parents (they just got back into town) and Asti got to spend some quality time running all over their yard, and playing with the sprinkler. Then I went to Hacienda with my mom while my dad puppysat, my mom and I picked up a couple of pizzas and met back home with my padre, my pup pup, and Steven. Steven and I were both exhausted (we haven't been sleeping well for like 2 weeks, if one of us can sleep the other one is tossing and turning) so went home pretty early.
Sunday (yesterday) was pretty awesome, we went to brunch at MC's (we almost always go to breakfast somewhere on Sundays) then we drove down to Gilroy and went to the outlets there. The Gilroy outlets are gigantic and we didn't go into the majority of the stores, but we hit some cool places Quiksilver, DKNY, Calvin Klein, Ralph Lauren, ADIDAS, this awesome discount bookstore. We spent a little money, outlets are awesome. My favorite outlet surprising to me was Calvin Klein I got a few really cute super soft shirts, and some adorable underwear. Steven will turn me into a designer clothes snob yet =) We finished off our day by eating at Applebees which was actually pretty damn good, we both had burgers and finished off with that sizzling caramel apple pie thing, uggh soo good.
I'm not allowed to go shopping anymore (this is my rule) I have way more than enough stuff to last me a lifetime especially since Victorias Secret just had their semi-annual sale. I can't wait to start working again!
Today, I took my sweetheart to Bart, and now I'm sitting here in front of the computer I have to pick him up in a few hours. We're having my parents over for dinner tonight, I keep telling my mom I'll make her my Chinese food but they're always gone, so tonight finally I'm going to do it, besides that sounds sooo delicious, and its pretty healthy.
In less than a month I'm flying to Kentucky to be in one of my best friends weddings, I'm still waiting to find out if Steven is going to go with me, I really hope he does I want him to meet Michelle, and the wedding would be more fun with my sweetheart as my date plus I'm going to be gone for 4 or 5 days, I have to be there for the bachelorette party and the rehearsal dinner and I can't fly back til the morning after which happens to be Steven's birthday (great timing Michelle). The earliest flight I could get in is 10 am of course that means leaving KY at 6 and a 7 hour flight, which means I'll be pretty tired on hid B-day. But I think I'll be so excited to see him (if he doesn't go, still keeping my fingers crossed) that I'll have tons of energy.
I'm excited about flying for thie first time although I'm pretty sure I'll be bored during the flight, but maybe I'll sleep. I'm excited about seeing Michelle and Klay, and even curious about seeing KY. This summer is already flying by and with school starting the 2 of August It'll be over before I know it. (sigh) All right blah blah blah this is long I have things to do and calls to return. TTFN
